I felt like coloring a few random sketches I found on dA, and this one was my favorite. My brother and I had just finished playing through the original .hack games (Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine) for the first time, and I grew rather attached to both Kite and BlackRose (espeically after reading .hack//Another Birth). I like them both as a couple and simply close friends. Either way, they make a great team :)

Just for clarification, this is Kite and BlackRose NOT Shugo and Rena. They are completely different people

Awwee I always liked them as a couple! To bad I never finished the game, cause I just didn't feel like it... and never kept up with the manga. Ah well, the coloring is really nice! =3

Actually, they aren't at all. Kite and BlackRose don't even know each other until they meet each other in The World (you can play the .hack games to see for yourself)

Shugo and Rena (from .hack//Legend of the Twilight and .hack//Dusk) who "win" the chibi Kite and BlackRose avatars are brother and sister.

The original Kite and BlackRose are completely different people than Shugo and Rena. I know it can be confusing if you haven't played the games. I don't know why the developers thought it'd be a good idea for different people to use Kite and BlackRose's characters >_<

Anyway, so this is a picture of the original Kite and BlackRose who are NOT brother and sister

Good job! Try adding more depth to the shadows and hair though. Good job though!
